Our Verdict:
This Chicago Knife set is one of the best selling knife sets made by Chicago Cutlery and is one of the best sellers over at Amazon. The reviews all praise this knife set as “well worth the money” and a great investment.
The knife set is heavy, well balanced, sharp, sleek, and feel great in the hand. The specialized knives come with a black polymer, ‘non slip’ soft grip handles and the steak knives have stainless steel handles.
You will find that the steak knives are not serrated, this may be an issue for some but I can assure you that they are razor sharp and cut through steak like butter.
There is also a sharpening tool included in this knife set which is a nice little bonus. On the downside the knives when sitting in the knife block don’t really line up as they should do which is a shame, but this is one small gripe, the overall quality of the knives outweigh this small issue.
As with any knife make sure that you wash and dry them by hand to avoid spotting. For the price you can’t go wrong with this knife set from Chicago Cutlery – A great investment.
